While companies serve society with the products they produce, they develop various methods to ensure recycling as well as making profits. In recent years, the rapid increase in population and therefore production has led to a search for alternatives in production and industrialization. Various studies are carried out on waste management in our world and in our country in order to protect natural resources and prevent negative effects on the environment. In addition to preventing resource waste through recycling, developed countries have been working to recover and reuse waste in recent years, as the energy crisis has emerged. With the correct waste management process, it is aimed to return the waste to the system as a resource by subjecting it to the correct processes. Waste management developments are made by following the steps as in the chart below. It is known that recycling waste is effective in terms of sustainable environmental quality, protection of natural resources, and social and economic welfare.

Compared to glass, metal, etc. used as raw materials, plastic products are more widely used because they are more accessible. In Turkey, polymers are widely used in many multidisciplinary industrial sectors (construction, automotive, packaging, health, cosmetics) due to their easy accessibility and easy processing. Businesses use various methods to increase profits and reduce costs, which are their main objectives. Nowadays, considering the risk of depletion of natural resources, businesses tend to produce with less resource use. This situation directs businesses to make sustainable production using environmentally friendly and recycling technologies. If businesses recycle by using technologies that are environmentally friendly and consider recycling, their costs are reduced. In our developing world, this situation is inevitably important and necessary.
