CLARIFICATION TEXT ON THE PROCESSING OF EMPLOYEE PERSONAL DATA

Within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, which entered into force on March 24, 2016; the law aims to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, particularly the right to privacy, in the processing of personal data, and to regulate the obligations and procedures of real and legal persons processing personal data.

As the data controller defined by the Law on the Protection of Personal Data, our company, in line with the care and responsibility we show for the security of employee candidate personal data, has prepared this consent form and obtained your explicit consent for the lawful processing, recording, storage, and limited transfer/disclosure of all personal data belonging to you and other individuals related to the company for the purposes stated below.

The personal data you have provided to our company or requested in accordance with legal regulations and company policy; will be processed in connection with the needs of the business, within legal purposes, limited and proportionate to such purposes, and stored for as long as required by legal obligations and/or for the purpose for which they are processed, in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data and other relevant legislation, as well as societal norms and principles of good faith.

In the context of your work with us, the personal data that may be requested from you or may be processed if necessary are as follows:

  • Identity Data

Your name, surname, Turkish ID number, date of birth, country and city of birth, gender, marital status, nationality

  • Contact Data

Your phone number, full address, and email address

  • Special Category Personal Data

Your disability status, blood type, reason for military exemption, criminal record, health status, number of children, and additional income (e.g., retirement)

  • Education Data

Your education level, education details (school name, term info, graduation GPA), foreign language knowledge, skills, attended seminars and courses, certificates, computer skills

  • Visual and Audio Data

Your total experience, employment status and title, work experience (company names, employment periods, job descriptions)

Your driver’s license details, competencies, hobbies, salary expectations, military status, reference information

PURPOSE OF PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA;

Your personal data listed above is processed within the scope of your employment with our company for the following purposes:

  • Planning and execution of Human Resources processes
  • Creating personnel files, payroll processing
  • Managing employment contract processes
  • Providing health services to employees
  • Allocating phones, lines, and vehicles within the scope of the employment contract
  • Preparing power of attorney and signature circulars
  • Emergency planning and operational execution
  • Occupational health and safety processes
  • Accident and regulation management within the scope of OHS
  • Drafting service procurement contracts
  • Planning, auditing, and execution of information security processes
  • Creating and authorizing employee email accounts
  • Recording internet logs
  • Planning and executing corporate communication activities
  • Planning of employee travel and advance processes
  • Issuing employee cards and shuttle registrations
  • Ensuring continuity in budgeting processes
  • Providing and managing employee training
  • Planning and executing internal training and orientation programs
  • Managing board of directors decisions
  • Planning and managing general assembly meetings
  • Tracking lawsuits and legal matters


SPECIAL CATEGORY PERSONAL DATA

According to the Personal Data Protection Law, your special category personal data includes information about your race, ethnicity, political opinion, philosophical beliefs, religion, sect or other beliefs, appearance and clothing, association, foundation or union memberships, health, sexual life, criminal convictions, security measures, biometric and genetic data.

We recommend that you do not share your special category personal data in your CV, on your profile page, or during any support communication unless we specifically request it.

In this context, your special category personal data:

  • Such as photographs uploaded with your CV, are used by different departments within the company for evaluating your application and are processed for the purposes listed above.
  • May be shared with our legal advisors and administrative institutions in accordance with legal requirements, when necessary for exercising our right of defense.

Your personal data will be stored for the period required by relevant legislation or for the purpose for which they are processed, and in any case for the statutory limitation periods.

By including individuals as references in your CV or other sources, you declare and undertake that you have shared their data in accordance with their knowledge and consent, and you assume responsibility for any contrary claims or requests made by such reference individuals.

DATA TRANSFER LOCATIONS

Your personal data processed for the purposes outlined above may be transferred — in line with the principles in the KVKK and the processing conditions and purposes in Articles 8 and 9 — to our business partners, shareholders, public institutions and organizations (such as Social Security Institution, İŞKUR), banks, and independent audit firms, within the framework of legal obligations and requirements to continue our activities.

YOUR RIGHTS

In accordance with Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law, by proving your identity, you may request information regarding your personal data as follows:

a) Learn whether your personal data has been processed

b) Request information if it has been processed

c) Learn the purpose of processing and whether it has been used appropriately

ç) Know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred at home or abroad

d) Request correction of your data if it has been incompletely or incorrectly processed

e) Request deletion or destruction of your personal data in accordance with Article 7

f) Request notification to third parties to whom your data was transferred about any correction or deletion made

g) Object to the emergence of a result against you through analysis by automated systems

ğ) Request compensation for damages if you suffer due to unlawful data processing

Your request will be finalized within 30 days depending on the nature of the request. However, if the process incurs a cost for the Company, the fee determined by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.

To make a request about your personal data, you must complete and sign the application form on the Company’s website and deliver it to us in person by verifying your identity.
